Basenji Heaven!
Above is our Premier Basenji pride and joy AM/CDN CH Premier's Trouble's Baruh'n. (Cdn Ch Mankia's Simba Wa Bara Hindi x Cdn Ch Klassic's Klass Act.) As you can see from this photo, "Baruh" is quite a handsome boy. At 6 yrs old, he is just in his prime and having the time of his life. With VERY LIMITED showing, he has accomplished some very impressive wins. He achieved his American Championship in 12 shows, with a 4pt major and two 5pt majors, going Best of Opposite Sex and/or Best of Breed over Specials along the way. We aren't in a position to "Special" him the way we would like, but his occasional trips to the mats have not been fruitless. He has garnered a few group placements, even against the big guys. More importantly, though, Baruh is a very sound healthy dog with a sweet temperament, seasoned liberally with a clown's sense of humor. That temperament seems to be coming out in his offspring as well.
